On May 2nd we held a wedding shower for Emily Alloy which, thanks to you and your staff, was an amazing success. It was our first almost back to normal event since March 2020 where we could gather with more than our immediate family “pod”. It felt wonderful and your food and staff made it feel even better.
To begin with, the menu that Ilana and you helped us design was delicious, perfect for the event and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The bright, sunny day was made even brighter by the beautiful table decorations of happy yellow sunflowers on striking navy tablecloths. Patty and Anthony set up the buffet display, drinks server and set the tables perfectly. Their service was impeccable and their attitudes and interactions with the guests were exceptional. Overall, we could not be more pleased with how everything turned out.
Thank you again for helping to make the shower an event that the bride-to-be will remember so happily. It was great to work with you and your team. We look forward to we look forward to working with you again.
Jeff, things were perfect. Absolutely wonderful. We had high expectations and you and your staff exceeded them by a mile. Carmella was a wonderful captain, the bartenders were great, and the food was phenomenal. I was thinking back to when we first met and what our vision for the food and catering was. I wanted the food to be memorable and the facet of the party that we really went high-end. Grace and I took that approach at our wedding and people still remember it to this day (over 15 years later!). I think when they talk about Wang-Frisch events they are now going to talking about consistency in memorable cuisine. They already are, actually. The presentation, the temperature, the taste, and the service were so professional and so exceptional. I’ve gotten specific compliments on the lamb, the dumplings, the cornbeef, the pastrami, the sushi, the brisket, the short ribs, the fish, the salads, and desserts. The guests were happy, Grace and I were happy, and most importantly, Abby was very happy. Somehow there were leftovers, and that’s actually how our immediate family has gotten the chance to really appreciate the product. Betty’s was the perfect choice for our event and I hope we have the opportunity to work together again. Thank you for the personal attention, remarkable service, and masterful cuisine.
Debbie and Mathew’s wedding exceeded our expectations on every level (not a small feat) and that was, in no small measure, a result of the care, attention to detail and professionalism of everyone at Betty the Caterer. Your staff, from Calvin and Janice to the bartenders and servers (and, of course, the chefs and other food preparers) all performed flawlessly. I can’t tell you the number of people (both Beth Hillel regulars and people from out of town) who commented on both the outstanding quality of the food and of the service. Judy and I both want to thank you for helping to create such a memorable day.
We used Betty the Caterer for our winter wedding this past December and could not have been more pleased! From the start, Jeff Kalinsky walked us through every step with grace and professionalism. From meeting with us at home to sampling the delicious proposed menu at the Philadelphia office, Jeff was accommodating and easy to work with. Even when we wanted to change something close to the wedding day, Jeff was more than happy to come up with an incredible menu option. We had a dairy wedding. The food was tasty, and the presentation was top-notch. The food enhanced the evening immensely. In addition, the staff was attentive and professional. Thank you so much, Jeff and staff, for helping us create the wedding of our dreams We could not have done it without you!
Just a short note to tell you how pleased we were with your catering our event on Feb. 18. The food was excellent and the service superb. Patti and Jimmy were so pleasant and a delight to have as help.
We have attended numerous Betty the Caterer events and, every time, everything was always excellent. So, when the time came for us to plan each of our son’s Bar Mitzvahs, using Betty the Caterer was our first and only choice! With so much to think about, it was such a relief knowing that we could count on the food, service and presentation to be fantastic…and they were. Not to mention all of the other details that Jeff and his exceptional staff helped us organize and execute! Both evenings flowed seamlessly and a great time was had by all thanks not only to Betty’s incredible food, but also to their expertise at running the perfect party!
Max’s Bar Mitzvah was an absolute “no-brainer” to plan because we were working with an uber professional such as yourself! After working with you, and your team (may I just mention how fabulous they are!!) for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah 2 years ago, to plan something a bit “different”, we undoubtedly knew who to call. My husband and I were completely overwhelmed with the many phone calls, texts and emails following Jordyn’s Bat Mitzvah. Honestly, some are still talking about it, to this day . Not only were you prepared to WOW us again, but you had new and exciting ideas to present to us. Once again, we have another incredible evening to remember! You have outdone yourself!!. Jeff, it’s always a pleasure!
The Katz JCC in Cherry Hill has a longstanding history with Betty the Caterer. Most recently, we utilized their services for the 2014 JCC Maccabi Games and the Sports Award Dinners of 2013 and 2015. Last night, the JCC held its 5th Sports Award Dinner which was attended by over 650 people. Jeff and his staff arrived early, set up an impeccable event that included some “additional creativity” and executed their portion of the night flawlessly. Their staff were professional, polite and extremely efficient. We are thrilled to utilize Betty the Caterer’s services.
A million thanks to Betty the Caterer for putting on a A-1 affair for my son Josh’s Bar Mitzvah on January 30,2016. The food was DELICIOUS, the service was outstanding and the ambiance and professionalism were terrific! They truly helped to make our day very, very special!! In addition, Betty has catered JFCS’s annual fundraiser and has done an equally impressive job with a huge crowd of over 500 guests!
What an outstanding job you did the entire day for the Pro-Am and the Jewish Community Center of Southern New Jersey. Everyone raved about the food. The presentation was fabulous! As always, your team is seamless. You take my ideas and go with them. I love that with the creativity, an event can always be more unique and special. That is what makes you so great. You have the professionalism and the capability to run with a theme, present it beuatifully, and have the food taste delicious. The best is that your staff is so warm, kind and personable.
